Whats the trick to getting the 1/2 shaft out. I've got the wheel off, the rotor off, the bolt removed. I pushed the end of the 1/2 shaft out of the wheel hub, but it didn't clear, still about 3mm sticking in. I'm assuming that if I drop the differential the shaft will get jammed in even tighter.

So whats the trick? Do I need to unhook the diff from the end and jack it up a little to get the end out?
