I have read in other forums for information when I was thinking about getting it a few months ago. The soap you use will leave a film on the paint so the water will flow off like a sheet of water, unlike a well cared car with wax where the water will bead. You paint will look dull due to the film. It's not worth the 15 minutes you save to dry your car. My 0.02
