A very easy swap. Straightforward. I swapped a 300D into my 240D with very few changes. The driveshaft was the biggest change. Swipe everything you can from the parts car, i.e. glow plug wiring, gp timer relay, etc. I did have a slight problem with the exhaust pipe. I had to cut a few inches out to get it to fit.
Keep in mind, mine was an automatic. I do believe there is some challenge with the flywheel in relation to the manual trans. THe experts on here can guide you through that.
