It all depends on how much he is willing to spend.
Any good set of separates will always sound better
then full range speakers.
So, if he can afford the price, then I would go for the
separates.

Thanks. I figured that, but was mainly curious as to whether the sub/tweet were wired as 'seperate' speakers. In other words, could he put some full range in the woof holes and leave the tweets for now, then later put in woofs? Now that I think about it, probably not, because those types of seperates are sold together, I think.
So what type of seperates do you recommend? The woof holes are 6 1/2". The tweeters are 1 in (I believe).
