Howdy folks, speaker replacement question....

...me brother bought a Dodge Durango with the Infinity sound package. It has tweater/woofer separates up front and co-axial 6 1/2" in the rear doors. He promptly blew the rear door speakers and I replaced them with polk triaxial speakers, which sound pretty good (unamplified--maybe later). Now he has gone and blown the front left tweeter/woofer combo.

My question is, should my brother just stick some more triaxial polks in the woofer holes up front and leave the tweeters connected, or go with replacement tweeter/woffer separates?

Any advice appreciated.
