Does anyone know what the differences are? Do all Cali cars have the 722.4 or just the later years like say 1985? Are the gear ratios different? Torque converters lock up at different rpms?

I was looking through the Performance Products catalog and I noticed that it lists the 722.3 trans as Federal and the 722.4 as Cali. But no mention of what years. It also lists different modulators for both transmissions.

I have a 1982 Cali and 1984 Federal 300TD.
