OK. the Performance Parts catalog is a little vague. It did not list years, just Fed and Cali models. Since my 82 is Cali I assumed 722.4
I'm assuming only the 85+ Cali has the 722.4 and all earlier California cars have the 722.3 Federal type transmission....
Is this a correct assumtion? Where on the trans can I find a number ot identification tag? Just to be sure. I suspect it may a modified Cali/Fed car at this point in it's life.
I'm just starting to learn about these cars but I think it's going to be a long term love affair.
