Harmonic Balancer -- which way to trun?
Hi All,
I'm working on my 83 300 D Turbo to replace the broken
aluminum alternator bracket. In order to get to the
bolt, I turned the harmonic balancer counter-clockwise
to line the opening slot with the bolt.
I've just heard from Jim on this list that turning the
HB counter-clockwise on some V8 engine can cause
problems. What about for W123?
