I do not know what the car is worth, but $3500 is what I paid earlier this year (in Dallas, TX) for my very clean, straight, no rust, 1982 240D manual transmission, with 192,000 miles on it. I may have paid too much, but it seemed like a good deal to me, or I would not have done it.
