Not to hijack this thread, but you bring up a good point to me. Everyone is seeking out manual 240Ds... I currently have a manual in what will be my everyday driver, and is now (2002 Saturn VUE), and am seeking a 240D in automatic form. Is there some reason that auto 240Ds should be avoided (besides the fact that you will lose a drag race with a snail on salt)?
