I just replaced mine...it squealed something furious.
Does it scream under boost if you are going down the road or up a hill?only for the first 4 or 5 minutes then it settles out.

It'll start quiet
then get louder and louder..
its not fun to do...but can be done...
Other possibility...turbo problems?that sounds spendy
