Here's a tip for you if you haven't already bought your new O2 sensor:
Buy a Bosch sensor for a 1990s Ford Mustang V-8. It should cost about $40 (instead of the $120 for the MB part) and is exactly the same sensor -- just with a different connector.
Cut the connectors off both sensors, and solder the MB connector to the new "Ford" sensor. For about 15 minutes of work, you just saved yourself $80! Not bad, eh?
