There are three different types of calipers, they are made by ATE, Girling and Bendix. They ATE and Girlings ones are almost identical except the that the Girlings use and circular ring to hold the piston boot on. The Bendix calipers use heat shields on the the pistons between the brake pads. The reason your calipers had the bleeder screws on the bottom was that someone put the calipers on the wrong sides.
I have a feeling the calpers will work on either car.
