Why would the MAS only affect one bank of cylinders?

If E420 is like V-6 E320, MAS is located in large plastic duct leading from air filter to engine - black plastic cylinder about 3" diameter with plug coming out of side. Cost $300+ or maybe cheaper on ebay.

With those codes, you may be better off going to MB dealer and have them check it out properly.
