OK took it to the mechanic yesterday, we thought we cracked the problem as it appears that the hose that sites on the rear of the right hand (from the rear) cam cover and leading to the throttle body was pretty much schredded. We replaced this but the car still runs like crap. I think it is running really lean as it drives reasonably well at below 2000rpm but turns to crap once you rev it (the check engine light also flashes). Still getting the misfire codes. Any more ideas?
