Issues arise when it becomes difficult to find utilities for an obsolete OS. My parents ran into this problem and it became such a PIA that they gave up and ordered a new 'pute. It wasn't reasonable to upgrade to WinXP on a 10 yr old PC.  |
I also think a lot of people upped to XP just to dump ME (what a POS). Better to stick with 95/98 than ME.
