I know it's along shot but some of you may know if I can get history of a repair that was done on the 300E by the previous owner by a Houston MB dealer. The cr head gasket blew out and they repaired it to the tune of 7k bucks.
Now that the car has been totalled I am trying to prove to the adjustor that in fact a repair for that value was perfomed not too long ago.
The previous owner didn't keep the receipt when I bought the car but I know the work was done because they are friends of mine.
Any idea how I can get information with regards to that repair?
