Yep, that's a huge waste of resources and again another ship related blow to the environment.
I've never been to Europe (although I hope to someday!) but it seems kinda peculiar how two ships collided in open water. I figure the draft was pretty deep with a shallow bottom and perhaps the shipping lane was too narrow?Hence the hit from the other ships after it sank....you't think they's put BIG buoys out to mark the wreckage site
Perhaps they should install the Merc's radar guided cruise control....for a few grand extra that would have had a great ROI
