I'll mike the cranshaft...
the best I can tomorrow, from underneath the engine. I drained the oil into a pail with a pourus fabric on top, but I didn't find any metal particles. I expected something. Maybe the rod bearing hasn't spun and destroyed the crankshaft.
Those oil pan hex bolts are tedious. The engine shock absorber prevents me from removing one bolt. I cannot figure out how to remove the shock absorber. I got the bottom nut off, but the top of the shock absorber disappears behind the harmonic balancer. Any ideas? (besides a Dremel)
