Like ot know too
Mommies 84 actually has to be nursed for a minute or so after starting (on below freezing mornings) but then once it will idle on it's own it does fine. As it is warming up it will start to idle up to 1000 rpms sitting. You have to tap the throttle to bring it down after warmup.
My 81 kind of does this too although not up to 1000 rpms.
My new 85 wants to die for almost 5 minutes after startup. I have noticed though that the idle seems a little low since I killed it one day with the AC on, turning the wheel and backing up. Might have to just dial the idle up a bit and it will hold it's own better when cold.
I am not aware of any adjustment though although basd on how the 84 acts there must be something that brings it up a bit when cold.
