1st Time Power Brake Bleed User

I recently purchased a Motive Products power brake bleeder to assist me in maintaining my fleet. One question that I had which the directions don't seem to address - how does one avoid forcing air into the system when you first start? They even talk about ensuring that a good seal has been achieved on the MC resevoir by pumping up the bleeder to 20#s or so. Wouldn't this force some air into the system? I'm especially concerned as my first use of this device will be on a car whose entire brake system I've just replaced so other than the MC which will have been bench bleed, the whole thing will be empty.

Thanks,

jlc
