Update - I called the dealer on Monday morning and ordered a new O-ring. It was in by Tuesday afternoon and I picked it up on the way home. Price: $1.95. Can't complain about that! It was labeled as an Injector Pump O-ring so I asked the parts guy and he said they were used in multiple places, but we verified on the diagram that it was the correct part.

I was very impressed with the dealership (Ewing ********) - one of only two in the entire Dallas area. Seemed well organized, friendly, knowledgable and without the snob-factor I've experienced at certain BMW dealerships.

Hopefully I will have time to install the O-ring in the next day or two.
