Quick and fast are not the same thing... It's
quick enough to get underway with competence in traffic, but it won't win drag races. It is
fast enough to get you a ticket you can't afford, but then almost any M-B will top 100mph.

M-B has determined that the 'stock' OM606 is the best combination of power, mileage, reliability and EPA-certification that they can achieve. Modifications are available, your mileage will vary...
