I met the guy who owns the almost exact copy of my coupe. His is a 1978 300CD, looks exactly like mine on the outside, smoked taillamps and euro headlights with corners, slight difference on the wheels, his were carlsson chromed 5 spoke 18's. He also had the AMG front lower spoiler. The interior was slightly different 5-speed manual trans was in place and had two tone complete interior (grey with red trim) made from a W116 interior set.

I passed it on the road the other day and a LOT more has been done, doesn't look quite so much like mine anymore...
