I think it’s a great idea!! Wish I'd have thought of that when I was in my 20s.

About it being art, there was a transformation of art within western culture starting in about the 16th century where the art of the everyday scene became a popular means of representation. That trend continues to this day. One of the key elements of this type of art was that representations were noted for their lack of idealized or romanticized presentation. A painter named Peter Bruegel the elder is considered one of the first master practitioners of this art form which art historians and mere posers such as myself call genera art.

Can there be a better performance art form than spending time and a meal with strangers? It would be a wonderful series of events to experience and chronicle by narrative and/or photo. Bet that the closest most of us have come to this kind of random intimate encounter is by hitchhiking as a form of experience rather than a means of travel.
