Do you know the history of brake/clutch fluid changes? How would you describe the color/condition of the fluid?

Unless the fluid is clean and you know it has had scrupulous maintenance in terms of fluid changes, chances are there is an internal hydraulic system problem with either the master of slave cylinder.
