i agree... dont sandblast... nothing you can put on will match the factory finishes. you can look it over really thoroughly and if you find any cracks, cut back the undercoating til you get to well sealed material, then make repairs to any damaged material, including paint metal and undercoating. if you cant find any cracks in it then just keep it clean and wash it good on a regular basis in the winter when the salt is the worst.
