I have read threads on burning different "additives" in the diesel fuel. One that caught my attention was adding a quart of Automatic Transmission Fluid per tank. Does this really help lubricate some of the internal workings of the motor? What good or bad side affects will there be?

Are there other "additives" we should know about or be warrened away from?
