The injectors ARE different parts, and I don't know why. But, I have to believe your supplier is feeding you a line, because 'dwell' does not apply with CIS. Valid differences might be rate-of-flow, spray pattern, pressure cutoff, or physical fitment. I would absolutely stick with the correct ones, if you don't know the exact difference.
