Woo Hoo I got my A/C tools today...

Woo Hoo I got my A/C tools today...now I can start to put to practice all the reading I have done using search the last few months....

Got my manifold guages...my side tapper , thermometer, Automotive specific A/C book, I have a vacuum pump.....If I need a dye injector I will farm that out...I assume I can insert the oil while hoses are disconnected and not need the special tool...got to crack down and take the test in the next few days...

I intend on rebuilding hoses...new O rings and expansion valve..new a/c receiver and flush the system well. And go with a R12 charge...when the '83 300D is fixed I am going to put the W116 back to factory R12...

I doubt I will get through all of this without asking some other questions...
