My first Ride in an MB was when my dad bought my mom a 1973 280C. I loved that car, eventually I convinced my mother to sell it to me, I drove it in high school, and then college, had 475,000 miles on it, the car's name was Stella, her cams were worn and the heat would not turn off, my friends nicknamed her the roaring oven, still anytime we came to Dallas from Ft. Worth they wanted to take Stella. For College Graduation my parents helped my buy a 93 300SD (140) in 1994, I had that car until 2003 (165K) when I traded for a 96 SL320. I have never driven any other car except Mercedes. I sure do miss my S class! I am saving for another. Best Wishes!
