I did it recently to replace vacuum pods. Plan on a couple of days work. The MBZ DVD manual has information that is useful. I didn't have to remove the steering wheel to do it. Also check GSXR's posts and follow to his website for photos of what you will find under the dash. Consider pod replacement while you're in there, and good luck.
