Hey,
You can check those wires and the Glow Plugs at the same time.

With engine off and multimeter set to read ohms put one end in a plug on that connector and the other on the battery negative (ground) terminal.

If any read infinite replace glowplug.

This has been discussed before, maybe you used GP instead of glowplug or glow plug in your search?

Also, the Haynes manual has a pretty good writeup on this procedure. it says to use the 200 scale. The numbers should be pretty close to each other. If you see one with an unusually low number you may want to be proactive and replace it too.
