I removed the low side cap to try and put more freon (134) and noticed that there was dye around the low side valve, so someone knew there was a problem with it before!

Anyway, is the fan working properly? I believe there are two settings. If not, I think it's the #7 fuse, try replacing it as there could be some corrosion between the fuse and contacts. In my case, I believe the problem is bigger and I'll have to have it diagnosed professionally.
i don't know if the fan is working properly, how do i check? i just checked all the fuses and they seemed fine, none the less i replaced #7. still the same. ( while i was in there i replaced all of them )

oh and an additional question, my car is about to be due for an oil change and i want to get synthetic. i want to get the best out there possible for my car, a lot of people like mobil 1, but what weight should i use? my engine was rebuilt 5k miles ago and heads were polished so i doubt there will be any leaks anywhere.
