Caught this small news item from last weeks Autosport:
"Mercedes GT car to enter US series,

Mercedes will be represented in the American Le Mans Series for the first time in the championships history before the end of the season.

A Canadian team is building a GT class contender based on an AMG Mercedes C55 coupe, which it hopes to race for the first time at the Laguna Seca round in September.

Vancouver based Flying Tiger Developements, an offshoot of the local importer of AMG performance Mercs, has been working on the project. Team boss Eddie Lai will drive with another unnamed Canadian."

This is a direct quote.
Any of you Vancouver guys know this bunch?
If you do cheer them on, I will be!

I wonder if they are really running the new c-class coupe with a V8 or the article meant to say CLK55?
And how much factory support are they getting?
