Exclamation Speaker problems

Hey all, alright I've had this problem with my speakers that I dealt with for awhile because it wasn't a big deal. Now, it's starting to get annoying. The problem is I only get sound from my left front and rear speaker, for some reason the right side speakers don't work. What do you guys think? and were can I find the wires? Thanks! (This is on a 83 240D)

My 300d, and my sdl both have a front/rear speaker selector next to the window switches. I am assuming yours has one too, and it's probably your problem. I have had to do away with that switch in both of my cars.

If you take it out, the left bank is for the left speakers...and vice-versa. I just verified all the wires go to the right speakers, then soldered them together, effectively doing away with the switch.

You won't be able to fade, but all your speakers should work.

okay I just took off the center console. The fader switch has nothing connected to it. So I think we're good there lol. The right side speakers are spliced and have those red caps on them. But my right speakers are working just fine and their spliced too. Something has to be wrong with the wire somewhere. I plugged the left speaker in the right speaker port on the back of the radio and it plays the audio and did vise versa and the right speakers still played nothing in the left port, which I know works because the left ones work just fine. I'm stumped any more suggestions? Thanks again!

Left I meant to say my left speakers are working fine, my right ones aren't. (in that above post)

woOt

ok woOt the speaker problem is fixed. It ended up being the right side speaker wire wasn't attached where they spliced the wires under the center console. thanks for the reply though!
