I am trying to find out the paint code for my '83 300SD Mercedes and I was wondering if anyone can help me? So far I have discovered the plate above the radiator which reads as follows:

I'm not for sure, but I think it is one of the last two, probably 504 and the other one is your interior. My color code is 904, so 504 could be it. I hope I'm right!!
