Turbo removal on 603
Does the turbo have to come off to remove the head? For an '86 300SDL. No trap.
It isn't a matter of difficulty, just curious as no mention is made in the manual as to removing the turbo. It does state to leave the exhaust manifold in place. I suppose it is just a matter of how heavy you want the head to be as you are bent over trying to wrangle it off. Just wondering. Thanks
