you can buy Euro fuses at Autozone. Costs about $2.00 for a pack of 6.

You can buy a multi pack or just one color for about the same price.

Tinned glass fuses are pretty common in the marine world. But afaik MB didn't put them in from the factory.

The proper fuses are so cheap I ordered a bunch from Fastlane and updated them all. A few things started to work better as well.

No, M/B didn't use them. But, I see no reason to eliminate them from consdideration. In fact, I think I'd prefer a sealed glass fuse over these open POS.
