Can you say shafted?

So you're selling this brand new '85 MB. You drive it into an open area to take photos, the last thing you do as you get out is punch the trip odo to zero it?

I'd bet that the trip odo is inop., as in disabled - to get the main odo turning again. So you take a really nice (repainted) Benz in trade from some dead old guy's nephew, put in some new interior panels, and clear 12k on the deal. Not bad for a days work.

My Euro looks exactly like that...clean, neat as a pin inside too except you could drop a six-pack through the holes in body behind the rea wheels

My car is as clean as that one and its got 152k on it. Hmmm..anybody got a speedo with low miles? I could use 15k about now.
