81 Mercedes 300D Trunk Problems
The trunk of my 81 Mercedes will not open. The key has never worked, it will fit in the lock but it will not turn. The trunk used to open when all the doors were unlocked but the front passenger door no longer locks and the trunk no longer opens. Is there a connection? What can i do?

Check you vaccuum system, i.e. the central locking system. This happened to me in my 83 D. I got mine open by starting up the car, locking the drivers side (thus locking all locks), then unlocking the drivers side (thus unlocking all locks). Your drivers side doesn't lock at all? Even from the inside?
