Oh yeah. Ya'll got Atlanta taking up about 10 counties it seems like! Houston only takes up 3 counties, Harris, Montgomery, and Fort Bend. Maybe one of these days, they'll get annex crazy and take Waller, Brazoria, and Chambers.

The farmers are too good for tractors now. They come in their fancy schmancy King Ranch Edition Ford F-350 pickups now. Of course, Houston's so sprawled out now, the farmers don't bother coming into town, since they're already in it.

Texas cities?

Same in DFW. Here farmers pull in F550 or F650.
Metroplex sit on 4 counties(Dallas, Tarrant, Denton & Collins). lots of farms righ.. insi.. the "city". Have an offroad pump right across the street for the boats.
Biodiesel is also available for surprisingly cheap.

FWIW, I've got two 55 gallon drums of red fuel that I rescued from a local hospital's supply for their genset unit. The fuel had become contaminated with water and they didn't know what to do with it, contacted the local hazardous waste facility and the Haz Facility called me. I rented a trailer and 'took it off their hands' ...I figure I'll set up a 12VDC pump and run it through a Goldenrod filter into a clean holding tank then polish it a few hours with a new filter.

Hernietta the 2040 only burns about a gallon/hr even when shredding so I figure after cleaning that fuel, I wont have to buy farm fuel for a couple of years!!!
