Good People,

Dropped off my 300D for some service at Autokraft, an indy here in Santa Rosa, California. John (owner/operator) says he has two customers wanting to sell diesels. Here is the info:

1984 M-B 300D Turbo
One owner since new
151000 miles
Just had a 30K service
Exterior color -- some kind of light brown, I think he said
Autokraft has cared for this car since 1993, when it had 95000 miles
Owner is suspected of wanting to ask about $5000

1983 M-B 240D
Manual transmission
One family since new (daughter has it now for college)
300000 miles, uses a little oil
New clutch
Has a bent front bumper end (driver's side, I believe) from a minor accident
Price not yet set

This is all the info I have.

He will put you directly in touch with the owner and probably also would be able to answer service-related questions.

I am happy to help check out either of these cars so long as you understand that I am a newbie to both M-B and diesel.
