Delvac 1 is re-appearing in new packaging. The consumer version, now called Turbo Diesel Truck 5W 40, is slowly showing up in stores. I've heard Murray's Discount Auto Parts has it. People have been able to find it at their local Mobil distributor and Autobarn advertises it on the 'net. There seems to be much uncertainty as to whether we'll be able to purchase it at WallyMart again.

Your local CAT dealer, some GMC dealers and Detroit Diesel dealers also have a re-branded version. Avlube.com is another on-line source for ordering.

There is a small chain in the NE called VIP Auto...they still have inventory of the old product...I bought some a couple of weeks ago.

Shell Rotella

Was in Tractor Supply today, they stock Shell Rotella Synthetic in the blue bottle too. About a dollar more than Walmart, but no long lines.

I have had great luck getting Delvac 1 from the Mercedes dealer I use. They charge about $25 a gallon, so the price is right inline. I bought some two months ago and didn't have any trouble getting two gallons.

not having to go to Wal-Mart: priceless

My local Wal*Mart doesn't carry Delvac 1. Delvac, yes. Delvac 1, No. For that I have to go to Farm and Fleet.

Mine did when they sold it under Truck and SUV.

Even if they did sell it again, not having to go to Walmart isriceless.
