I do not recommend this or know of anyone who knows of or has done this and any other disclaimers ever pened by man ...
A used disposable camera circuit will generate 380V DC with a spike of 1000V. Watch out for the capasitor leads and any other 'hot' points in this gizmo or you will get a zap.

Try rigging the above to just flash.

I saw inructions to make a stun gun out of one of those cameras. Might be a good idea to wire it up the the body of the car and find a way to discharge it with a remote or something...

BTW: this happened to me on a 79 300 SD. The fools took an old Becker but without proper tools. Trashed the climate controls. Wires all askew. (I'm trying to be polite).

Car break-ins are one of those things that would be so worth it to catch the crook in the act. The beating I would deliver upon him would be legendary.

Over their head my hinney ! and the jack handle laying next to the body will prove I was in fear of my life.

That stinks. Sorry to hear it. Im sure you feel violated and desire revenge. I hope that there are some sort of clues that you find or they try to sell the stuff and get caught.

Lesson learned, dont leave ANYTHING out in sight...

Wonder if an entry alarm going off would have made them run...

4 channel video system with a dvr. Seems our local scumbags are coming for another round. This time I'll have video. Ba$tard$ are back doing the old "moving truck" gig as well. My neighbor surprised two early morning snoopers when he went outside for a smoke at 4:45am.
