Awesome deal...!! I'm the self proclaimed 300CD guy around here. I sort of collect them. I like your car a lot, and it will make you very happy I'm sure. They a really a nice, middle of the road Mercedes to start with. Not exactly a sports model, but sporty in their own little way. The vacuum issues will be both fun, and annoying, to track down, and solve.
Good thing though, is that unlike electrical issues, you can find them in your driveway w/o/ so much more than a vac. gauge, and a little patients, and a manual. I hope you remain happy with your car. If not, sell it to me....LOL. Glad you got a nice day, to work on her. What are you going to name her by the way? She has to have a name, you can't have a Mercedes without a name...Is she your first? |

Great car for the price, with a wonderful color. If the exchange motor was rebuilt then you only have 62k on it, and it's esentially new. The little parts and problems can be put right with minimal trouble, so you are way ahead of the game. This one is a real keeper.
