NA E300D is rated around 12 seconds
E300 turbo is rated at 8.5.
Those with chipped E300 turbos can chime in with their 0-60....

I watched my uncle blast away in his CLK55 today, 2005, black on black, I can't even begin to describe the sound it made. Between the chirping tires and V8 roar.....
I believe it's a NA 5.5L too, only the bigger cars got the blower.

AMG makes some wickedly fast cars these days:

I think you would have to keep the S55 below 2000rpm to give an E300D a shot.

what boost pressure does your 350 run? I have a 90 350 SDL and the boost runs only 9 psi and should run 14 according to book. I can find no reason for this. I wonder if MB changed turbos to fix the cly head, head gasket, bent rod problem they had with 350 engine.

Most vehicles from the factory suffer from low boost........unexplained reasons.

Just crank it up to about 13 psi. Any more than this value doesn't have any affect on the engine.
