quickie shutoff troubleshooting question

Hi,
Tracing down the "won't shut off" situation on a manual transmission 240D.

Vacuum on the brown hose shuts it down right away, so from what I understand I'm down to either a leak somewhere else in the system or the key switch loop having a leak/not working.

Now if I don't care about any of the non-essential vacuum consumers, how do I eliminate that possibility? I tried blocking off everything that goes into the firewall from the T on the hose between brake booster (?) and vacuum pump, but that didn't help things. I don't think this is the right thing to do though to get what I want. Which hoses should I unplug and block to leave just the key circuit operational?

Thanks!
