Would that by any chance bolt up to a Benz or would a custom mounting thingie need to be constructed? Found it whilst looking for seals and parts and such...

Audi have an external wastegate. So, won't work easily.

BUT that should be the same style center section so basically we need bearings, seals, clips, etc.

Use a real boost gauge, and make sure the port you are connected to at the manifold is clean. Also need to make sure the EGR and ARV aren't hanging open.

FWIW, I have my KKK wastegate backed out to min pressure, still builds 13psi though. All I got was higher IAT's and higher EGT's with more boost. You want to see at least 10psi, but there's no need for more than 12-13psi unless you're doing pump mods & adding an intercooler...

The EGR is already off.

My wastegate is stuck partway open, I think. That's the point of the exercise, to take the whole thing out, clean the wastegate, re-spring it if need be, whatever has to be done... rebuild the turbo while it's out of the car since that's the only way to do it to take care of the oil leak inside it, and then throw it all back together. It's too much of a PITA to get in and out to keep arguing with it.
