Hi,
Does anyone have any idea why I am getting a grumble/vibration from my gear shift selector, It only does this at around 1,100 to 1,200 RPM's, I am thinking motor mounts or gear selector bushings or both. Has anyone had this happen to them? (1984 300SD) Thank You!!! Jim |

time to check the flex disc's. there are two. one by the diff, and one behind the trans.
Don't wait on this grumble sound. It could be a huge headache to repair if it lets go. |

I just changed my radiator to transmission hoses, ATF ,adjusted my parking brake/brake pads, inspected my flex disk and checked the rubber donuts on the exhaust while I had it up on the hoist.
I changed the transmission rear mount about 6 months ago. I thought this grumble might be a common issue with this car. Thanks, Jim |
